Why do we play in the SCA?

It's fun.

It's educational.

The people who participate are the people we enjoy being around. The SCA has a camaraderie and honesty that is very wanting in the modern world.

The reasons are many, and I could go on and on, but I'll sum it up to say that there is no other outlet for the things you can do in the Society for Creative Anacronism.

Medieval Combat, Armour, Feasting, Camping, Leather Work, Wood Work, Brewing, Archery, Games, Calligraphy and Illumination, and much more...  That's why!
