The side seams are slit about 6 or 8 inches on the blue raw silk over tunic down low enough to be able to pull forward over a breast.  The white linen under tunic is slit down the center from below the navel to about 3 inches from the top.  Misaligning the slits makes for modest nursing when aligned.
