Garb, like armour, is one of the largest areas of choice you have to make in the SCA or any other historical re-enactment group. Being consistent to one period is very difficult if you like a wide range of the styles that were worn. I tend to dress first century SCA more than anything else, although of late, my lady and I have tended to wear garb appropriate to the 13th & 14th c.
